Bought a Osmo Mobile to bring on travel excursions. After intensive use for 4 weeks in New Zealand with an iPhone 7+ so I can unfortunately give a poor rating to the product. Build quality is good and solid. Hardware seems to DJI. Please be aware that this works best in fairly quiet surroundings. In moderate to strong wind, it will not do to stabilize your phone.
When it comes to software (DJI GO) used for filming, photographing and configure the device falls grade. The device needs to be calibrated frequently if you want to be sure to keep a straight horizon in your filmed materials. There is also a tendency to operation, i.e. a slow rotation in various stages even if you hold the handle still. This affects whether you should shoot timelapse or take pictures with slow shutter speed. After 3 weeks of filming so reset the app's settings, which I discovered to my disappointment when I would think down all the material to the computer after returning home. During the last week had filmed in 720p / 30fps and still image quality was derated to the lowest. The app crashes without warning and in some aspects directly difficult to use. To consider material from the app to your phone or to a computer, for example, very difficult. Videos can preview the app even when you do not have the device turned on and plugged in, but for some reason you can not be there with stills.
Recommended unfortunately not.
