Nostalgic purchase for SEK 56 + Gorgeous environments. + Flows well + Monster from the past but much nicer and more difficult + Find the key card as in old doom 1.2 + Straight nonlinear maps that invite exploration - Much of the same monster the game is already starting to feel repetitive -No heavy story - Too many enemies. Glory kills quickly get boring -Ammon runs out quickly

Has played Doom 1 and 2 in the 90's, which is among the best games in this branch throughout the ages. Did not have high expectations that this would be near Doom 2 but oh be wrong I had! This was the best singleplayer fight I've run in the past five years, and you're really excited and you're almost scared sometimes when you have to run over bridges at high altitudes and be tackled with fireballs, etc. Lived up to expectations several times though! The multiplayer is the kind of old Quake 3 Arena / Halo 5. Bad graphics and sound and fast game engine without fps layer. Can run everything on Ultra settings with one GTX 1060 and 60 fps without problems (run in Vulkan). If there is a sequel to this then it will be a given purchase! Wow feeling!

Unclear story but good gameplay. Good optimized when the GTX 970 can handle about 60fps on ULTRA settings (1080p)

Extremely nice game! Even though I have not played all DOOM games, but only the Nintendo 64 back in the days. so it was not difficult to keep up with in any way with the story. + For the very good and suitable music + Good flow + Moderate & extreme severity

I think it is a really good game (PC). However, only played a few hours and mostly in campaign / single player mode. Campaign: Intense battles. Challenging. Nice graphics, in my opinion, and keyboard / mouse works fine in the game. For me personally, a nostalgic experience with elements of classic DOOM functions (keys / cards that must be found to open the doors, you are on Mars, map feature, find more weapons afterwards including a weapon that was in DOOM II). But also new features and what I think innovation that makes the game really well. If someone now hesitated as the info: The game has gore effects. Multiplayer: has played about 30 minutes. It was fun, but need to try more to be able to speak. If you liked DOOM and DOOM II from the 90's, I think you will like this game. Have not found any bugs yet.

Do not forget to switch to Vulcan, 30 - 50fps more! The music + Vulcan + (120 - 150fps with 390; O) Fine feeling + + The grand cutscens - A little småbuggat 229kr on kinguin

Neat as hell. Run with a GTX960 and i5-6600 1920x1080 and is around 40-60 fps steadily. Adaptive V-Sync. Good atmosphere in the game. Good action just as it should be.

DOOM is back! 1993, the first game in the series, and from day one, so it was one of my favorite games. When Doom 2 arrived, so höjjdes the bar yet another notch. LOVED the new shotgun: D Although Doom 3 was a fair gaming, so it was not the same anymore, when it became slower pace, and the more the horror of it all. But now we finally got the games, such as Doom 3 should have been. It comes action and demo slaughter in an insanely high tempo. Like the new platform parts, where the double jump is gold. And also fun with the spectacular executions, which is brutally bloody. The chainsaw feels now as an important tool, when you get a big pile of ammo bonus, when you cut a few demons. Really efficient when you need to quickly get rid of a larger enemy. The game is just as fun, even when running a lap at higher difficulty. And fun to find new secrets and doors, that you might have missed the first lap. The most fun FPS game in many years! Highly recommended!
