My zotac 970 sounded like a jet plane and reached 85 degrees with 90 percent fan speed. switch to this and now have a card that reaches 63 degrees with max load for one hour and with fan speed of 30 percent making it almost noiseless. things to think about backplate takes more space so I had to move down a PCI express port. It can be mounted without a backplate but would not recommend it because it gets hot, meaning it does its job and cools. take time o assemble it took me almost two hours but it was worth the trouble to finally have a cool and quiet PC when playing. pulls off a star because it is not very beautiful o look at but otherwise it does what it promises!

Bought this to switch the fan on my GeForce 670 sounded aldeles too high, no OC. Just as No. 2 to the instructions correctly tricky; it takes a few hours to get everything in place. It says that the cooler is compatible with Intel 670, but at the very center of it was plastic nut tiles thick. It was about 2 mm between the GPU and the flange, so I had to install them. Not exactly optimal, but still decent good contact and seems to work so far. In addition to this you have to basically guess at where to put all the cooling pads. How difficult would it be to have little explanatory text and not just images. Then follow it with some parts that are not in the table of contents and whose function or not explained. Ever reason for this cooler gets a 4 is that it ultimately seems to function more or less as it should and is quiet.
