Playtech

I purchased a razer tiamat 7.1 Surround Sounds headset off Playtech in September 2012.
It was shipped and delivered within a few days. Emails about item progress was very helpful.

The headset started failing around Late March 2013 (left rear speaker cut out).
I called Playtech, and was asked to fill out a RMA form for the headset.

After filling the form out (electronically), I emailed to them. Within a few hours, I was asked to drop the headset off at Playtech.

A few days later, I went down, and got it looked at, and it was confirmed it was faulty.
So it was with a brand new one.

The staff at Playtech were informative and professional. The RMA service was easy and helpful.

And now, I can enjoy the brand new feeling of the headset in 2012.

Friday just after 12am: Saw that there were two in stock left for the product I wanted, bought and paid for them.
No confirmation on Friday.
Monday: Credit card shows amount has been deducted. No invoice still. No tracking number.
Tuesday: Called to ask what was going on? Was told that they had sold in-store one of my items and that they were ordering another one for me. I asked if they knew that I had already bought them and yet still sold it and the guy plainly said, "yes." No apologies just flatly (in fact it felt a bit rude) confirmed.

So I call COMPUTERLOUNGE and ask if they can price match the sale price. They did.
I cancelled order from Playtech saying I didn't like how it was handled. I guess they're pretty used to unhappy customers because she didn't even ask what happened or offered to keep my business.

Anyway, ordered via COMPUTERLOUNGE in the afternoon. Got my tracking number at around 4PM.

If you want decent customer service: avoid Playtech. Go Computerlounge.

I received great service on the two occasions I ordered hardware from Playtech, but the same can't be said for their after sales service.

I purchased a Microsoft wireless mouse which died after about one month of use (the USB receiver stopped working). It took more than two weeks to get a replacement mouse from Playtech. Despite the fact they had the exact same mouse in stock, I had to wait for them to source a warranty replacement from their supplier. I only found this out after I contacted them on day 14 asking for an ETA/update. Not impressed.

Bought my Galaxy Note from them.
Excellently packaged (bubble wrap!) and sealed. Delievered overnight although I didn't choose that optioin.

The phone is excellent, but most of all their service is superb. (Along with free shipping and competitive prices)

Will buy again!

I had to RMA a headset that I bought from Playtech, I swapped for the Sennheiser PC 360s, (I payed the difference) it did take about three weeks, but they were great, they were very happy to exchange the item. I was very happy with the service. Very happy with all but one of my purchases from this store.

Prices here are really competitive, the website is also really easy/fast to navigate.

Piss poor RMA service on a returned faulty OCZ Vertex 2 under warranty. I was issued with RMA # 66771 and within a day of being supplied with that number RMA # 66711 arrived on my doorstep (someone else's Z68 mainboard). So had to waste my time getting their admin problems sorted - returned it to them together with (separate parcels) my RMA (66771) - At no stage have they made contact with me at all as to what is happening - have telephoned and was told it had been returned to the supplier - I thought they were the supplier? Guess they must be resellers then (they should state this on their website)? Anyway between 16 February and now (14 March) not a word has been heard from them. Good prices but obviously beware of their warranty service as it just sucks - Warranty "Service" - what warranty "service"?

ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!

Had a bit of trouble getting the graphics card I wanted but Greg was on the case. Great customer service, very helpful, no messing about and very professional. You sir deserve a raise. I will definitely buy from Playtech again because of this experience. Also a plus is the Fast delivery and great prices.

Jan 2012 - Ordered a bunch of parts from them over the new year period and they shipped them off first thing when they opened after the new year break. Received the items the next day by courier. Awesome! These guys are no nonsense and are one of the most reliable/fastest online retailers operating at the moment. Only wish I'd bought all of my computer parts with them to save on the hassles dealing with other less reputable retailers.

Dec 2010 - Shipped a new drive to me and it arrived the next day to the deep south even though it was supposed to be 2-day service. Awesome. Great communication, no problems.
