Shockingly bas service buyer beware
Bought 2 lights, was sent 1. Took a month to arrive, then when I asked where the second light was, they kept showing me the NZPost delivery page which shows delivered...for 1 light. These guys know full well they sent me 1 light as the shipping dimensions and weight would indicate so, but they don't want to respond, nor do they want to send me what I ordered or refund the light they never sent me. This is not an NZ company, do not pay these guys a cent. Great pricing, but shoddy support and no NZ consumer protection. Trading from a .co.nz, yet located in Australia. Will never buy from here again.
Terrible service. In fact no service. Placed an order a month ago, never got any updates or replies from their support team. Cancelled in the end.
My order wasn't delivered, when I enquired I was told that Australian post had located the parcel and it was on its way. When I enquired why no progress was showing on the tracking site I was told that Australian post had lost the parcel, Dick Smith would send another and would let me know the tracking number when it was on it's way. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard another thing from them. I would certainly not recommend buying anything from Dick Smith.
Just Don't! Appalling customer service. Have been waiting over 7 weeks for our order to arrive in NZ and tracking still says it is in export facility in Australia. Have contacted Australia post and they say we have to contact Dicksmith and they need to follow up. Dicksmith customer service has been rubbish and there's no way of speaking to anyone directly. Avoid. I don't know how they can operate
Scam, ripoff, knockoff products, not wats advertised, damaged deliveries, you name it, these guys are bad
Product supposedly dispatched two weeks after purchase (when the estimate on their website said 2 days plus a few days extra due to COVID). They don’t ship from NZ, so expect international delays. Still waiting a month later to see what, if anything, is delivered. Asked where it is, got a non answer. Asked for a refund, got a non answer. Asked to speak to a manager, got no answer. Customer service is non existent. When someone responds to a message (which is rare) you get a generic email response. I do not recommend. They started out ok after they bought the DSE brand, however it’s just gone downhill in the years since and they don’t care. Not worth the drama.
I have ordered an item 2months back till today 18th of October 2021 haven't received the item trying to contact them but no reply please i would suggest not to buy from this site. . Very terrible company
