Awful experience ever. Placed an order 19th Dec and submitted cancellation request on 1st Jan as the merchant never shipped it. And after 20 days the cancellation request is still pending and I can’t get refunded. Contacted the support team but it has been more than 10 days now still nothing progressed. Only be told “thanks for your patience. I will be in touch as soon as an update available. Sorry for any inconvenience”. Please avoid this platform as when you dealing with a ghost merchant they can do nothing to help you get your money back.

The worst service provider I have come across. Are you scamming us or what? My return item was rejected because you lost the second box and I haven’t heard back from any online agent I spoke to regarding a follow up via email! Never ordering again and tell everyone I know as well to not use Market NZ.

my son got Hot weels car track for Christmas it doesn't work properly they will not fix or replace it don't by of this place just a rip off

Awful experience. Bought cellphone from Noel Leeming via The Market and had to hand it in for repair (11 October). They have now had it for 3 months and after multiple emails I still have no idea what is happening. Very, very poor after sale service. RUN!

3 orders this week from 3 different retailers on themarket.com have arrived quickly and as described. I was impressed that despite how busy the postal services must be at this time of the year, everything came really fast. Good prices, and free shipping because of marketclub. Win. Tip for others shopping here, look to see where the retailer ships from. They aren't all in NZ so it pays to check before you buy.

I didn't realise I was ordering from Australia but 6 weeks is enough time for delivery even coming up for Christmas, right? Not as it turns out. Item has moved from export facility to customs, I don't know which country. Tracking is useless. Automated responses unhelpful. I realise another company may well be to blame but the shipping from UK and China is faster than this.

Horrendous customer service. Item not even delivered after 8 days sitting at confirmed status. They blame the merchant but when I asked about ringing them I was told "they don't facilitate phone calls" Xmas gift ruined. Looking forward to seeing the automated generic response given to it would seem the vast majority having issues with this company. Never again...
