    Excellent service all round... arrived within a week. Goods were sent promptly once credit card verification had been done and arrived in perfect condition. Additional items were sent later and one was not available. However got immediate refund. Very good experience overall. can certainly recommend BexecTech.

    I wanted a camera that no company seemed able to get, when I emailed becextech with the question if they could provide the camera to which they replied within I think 30 minutes that they could! Awesome.

    So today I placed my order with them. It was the first time I ordered something from them. I made the payment using my credit card and I got the familiar message on the screen that the payment had been made and the order had been placed. Great! I also received two emails, one regarding the order process and another one with a payment confirmation. This latter email clearly status "Payment Status APPROVED" and "Bank Response Transaction Approved". Sweet! So everything done, now it was just a matter of time before a package with the camera would be delivered.

    Then, about 4 hours later I got an email (with my surname spelled wrongly) that my transaction had been 'flagged' (by becextech, not the bank) and that their 'security protocols had identified characteristics of my payment that seem out of the ordinary'. Naturally I was like WTF!? Your immediate thought is that you've been hacked, that someone has stolen your credit card details. You worry. You are wondering why your transaction would be flagged.

    They also said in that email they had either debited or credited my credit card with an amount less than $1 and if I could tell them which one (credit/debit) and how much. So despite having received confirmation that the transaction was approved by my bank, it's becextech themselves that bother you with this confirmation they want. Had I not checked my email but gone on a holiday to the outback for a few weeks, my order would still be 'pending'.

    When I asked them about the reason behind this practice they said 'it's to prevent fraud'. Which, though they mean well, comes as a very nasty surprise, especially since they didn't warn about this. On top of that I did not give them permission to withdraw more money from my account! Even though it's less than $1, I did authorise it.

    So they send me an email with a lie ('flagged' because 'out of the ordinary'), they delay the ordering process with this additional unannounced confirmation step and they take - just a little bit - more money than you gave them permission to!

    This is sub-obtimal.

    It turns out that they just do this to ALL new customers. I suggested to them that they change their tactics and clearly notify new customers when they make their first purchase that becextech WILL perform an additional verification and therefore to keep an eye on your email account. That way there's no surprise, no worries and no lies about anything being 'out of the ordinary'. Also, if they make the check by ALWAYS crediting your credit card (instead of debeting OR crediting), they can no longer be accused of withdrawing (even though it's just 'pending' and never an actual withdrawal) more money than you authorized them to.

    So, becextech, please clearly inform all new customers that there WILL be an email - even though the payment already shows as 'approved' - in which the new customer is asked the amount of a pending CREDIT on their credit card. This way there's no surprise, no confusion and no withdrawal. Win-win situation I'd say.

    Also please make sure that there are no more cases of undervalued items (a package worth say $1000 listed as having a value of $250, promting customs to require more tax/fees than initially paid). We're only human and errors will be made but it seems to occur just a bit too often. And when it happens, it's the customer who's wondering why the package takes so long to arrive, totally unaware of the fact that customs wants more tax and fees. Unless the customer checks the track and trace number on the (in my case) DHL website and asks DHL what's going on, the customer could wait a long time before the package arrives, which is in nobody's interest.

    In the end I got my camera, it was brand new - as advertised - at a nice price and Sam from becextach has been very helpful.

    I was going to buy an expensive camera and BecexTech had a very low price which seemed good.

    Because of previous customer feedback about very slow warranty repairs I thought I'd pay extra for the Extended Warranty which according to BecexTech terms and conditions is "provided by our partner, Advanced Product Services who is owned & operated warranty provider in Australia (ABN 96 149 704 898)."

    I was surprised the extended warranty wasn't provided by a NZ company so I did a Google search for Advanced Product Services (ABN 96 149 704 898) and found they were deregistered in May 2016.

    So it seems that the BecexTech extended warranty is provided by a non-existent company.

    Now I'm going to pay a few hundred extra dollars to buy the NZ version of the camera which does come with a real 2 year warranty.

    Good luck if you have any warranty issues with products bought from BecexTech!

    First you need to sign up for an account to buy a one off item. Then you need to prove that it's you by having a small charge done on your credit card, and you email them to tell them what this is. I guess it's for security.

    Plus they are Australian based, not in NZ. I'd use an international site if I wanted to buy from overseas.

    Then the Nexus I got had dead pixels on the camera, and opening it up I could see the imea number was scratched off. GPS doesn't work as well as previous store bought one either. I assume I was given a refurbished sold as a new phone. That's why they're cheap.

    After placing an order for a smart phone we got cold feet and cancelled our order, the order was still at the processing stage, depite Becextech not having a contact phone number they did respond promptly to my email request for for a refund and after approx 2-3 working days we received a full refund.
