With new firmware, everything works really well. Those who wrote negative about it may have old firmware or incorrect settings. Awesome action camera.

Awesome camera, but in the next I want to see Superview and stabilization at 4k 60fps

2018 / July: Still very buggy software. Additionally, if you choose not to connect the Hero 6 with your mobile, it's even more strange. Has an iPhone X. However, good movie quality to be an action camera and the sound is good only manually selects the noise filter that switches on / off automatically otherwise making the movie material completely "useless" with sound.

Fun toy and practical on the holiday when you want to swim or snorkel, especially with the handle, so it floats to the surface if you lose it. Have become a lot of fun movies / photos on holiday trip. Otherwise, the mobile camera works at least as well on land. Looks like it has a display that greatly facilitates. Very easy and fast transfer pictures / movies to your phone with the Gopro app. Coupled with wi-fi, bluetooth. Not the fastest taking photo, which makes it difficult to get good pictures of the children in motion. Then you can use burst mode or movie.

Highly recommended! Having poor image quality than many smartphones, and having a serious problem dealing with direct sunlight. You get a HUGE lens flare every time you point the camera towards the sun. The colors are unnatural and you can forget to shoot in dark conditions, as the noise is huge. The microphone is mediocre and the stabilization is electronic. Because of that, it makes the image sharper instead of making it evener when there is not much light. Many answerphones even have optical stabilization which is more reliable. It must therefore be light for the stabilization to function normally and not behave like an asplöv. Good to know is that the picture quality when shooting slow motion is not good at all. Sure it's full HD, but there are lots of aliasing and artifacts. The sharpness is also affected, which makes the image more like normal HD (720p). Quality is another problem. The battery door on my device was very sluggish, and I had 5 dead pixels on the screen. The only advantage of GoPro Hero 6 is that you can mount it everywhere, but the accessories are unexpectedly expensive. The Touck screen is also easy to use, but unfortunately it is not enough. GoPro spends all of its money on marketing instead of coming up with a good product. Recommends the Sony X3000R instead if you want value for money! For the price, GoPro Hero 6 is cash!
