Have had this for about 1 year, almost before its predecessor M400. Has also driven a bit with both the Garmin Forerunner and the Galaxy Gear S3 a bit occasionally. The advantage of the M430 is that it is not at all "nice" makes its job perfect without the need for care. Running train in the forest about 3 times a week as well as strength trainers. Need to recharge an hour every two weeks, perfect quality of heart rate and gps tracking unlike most other watches I've tried. Super durable, comfortable and cheap enough that I never think of the clock. + Huge battery life + Top quality on heart rate measurement and GPS + Durable. + Light, does not feel at all on the arm + Pair with third-party foot sensor without strut. - Late evening rounds, I need to press a button to see the display (maybe adjustable, not tried) - Sometimes the GPS fix takes a while (20-30 seconds), but usually directly. - Not the world's best looking workout. - Non-standard charging cable, guess that it is to avoid wear and tear. But given how rarely you need to charge it probably would have worked with micro-usb.

Have previously had a number of Garmin watches and last but not least a Polar M400. I switched from the Polar M400 because the pulse band broke and then I chose to upgrade instead of buying new pulse band. For me, this watch meets all my requirements for a clock for running. Finds signal quickly. Clear display. Easy to start and stop. Easy to configure different exercise profiles that you choose easily at start of training, eg running, cycling, kayaking, etc. and you can also easily create programs for interval training. Polar's page where the results end up are ok but there is a simple connection to Strava so the results are immediately uploaded there. With the M400, I had an error which meant that I had to send the watch to Polar for repair. The contact was incredibly good and I was just without the clock for a couple of days. Big plus!

Replace from a Polar M400 and is much more satisfied now. The clock is not pretty beautiful, but works everyday if you are not so picky. The optical heart rate measurement works really well for running, cycling and the like, where the pulse is relatively continuous, and maybe the arms do not move soo much. However, it does not work very well for gym training where the pulse goes up and down quickly, so I use a pulse belt (Polar H7), which works well. One slight disadvantage compared to the M400 is that the M430 has a special cable for charging.

Good exercise watch. It does what it's going to do with a goodbye. + Gets GPS fast + Apps Polar flow + battery - Notices, you can not see the entire median / scrolling. It is strange that Polar does not do anything about it.

Very good exercise watch + Good Functions (Step, Pulse, Water Resistant, Battery) + Quick, easy and clear interface that can also display notifications from the mobile + Beautiful watch with low weight + Material of high functional quality + User-friendly and detailed app Polar Flow, in addition to exercise data including sleep analysis, fitness test and exercise programs included - Could have been thinner, you see inner edge between glass and display SUMMARY: Best exercise watch so far, highly recommended. (My previous watches: Polar M400, Apple Watch 1 & 2, Garmin 735XT)
