I struck when the price was reduced to $ 2,490 and would say it is extremely affordable. Perhaps the most affordable subbena right now. I was worried that it would not be enough in my larger living room, but I think it does more than well. I bought this as a complement to my B & W 683's in movie shooting, but once I've gotten to the settings, it works really well to add some extra touch to the music as well. The bass might lack a bit of raunch in a real attack, but otherwise it will work well.
There is of course better subbar on the market, but doubtful if there is anything better in this price range. It's really no lack of bass, my problem is that I had to screw down the base just a bit to balance myself with my more sluggish fronters.
Now run a setup with the Yamaha RX-A1040, B & W 683 and this Klipsch R-10SW and are really pleased, especially considering the price.
