Works for most occasions. 16mm wide angle, the top! Really sharp. Bought beg, paid just under 3000 SEK. Well worth the money!

Best all-purpose zoom for Nikon DX! Good sharpness with nearly all settings, no other significant optical defects, image stabilizer, relatively small and light but still feels solid, moderate price.

Superb build quality. Sharpest loophole I've owned.

Without a doubt my best lenses. Really good sharpness and well built. A given purchase of the normal zoom for DX format. As sharp as 17-55, but not as sensitive to light and lack of shelter. Differs, however, 10 000-in price.

Do this on a D90 and it gives great pictures. An amazing lens that feels well built and has nice sharpness, LHW in mitten.En really good all-round aperture. Vr is cannon if the light is tight. If you are about to buy a Nikon camera, I can really recommend this lens as a first choice. Worth every penny.

Feels that it is a little more expensive lens when holding it in your hand. Pictures are great, but it's zoom range that impresses most, that one moment to get the whole room or landscape, and zoom in on details. Macros are well like maybe, but you do not buy this kind of loophole to it. VR makes a difference, compare it with other openings at the same focal length if it's a little dusk becomes more pictures sharp with VR. As another user wrote: it feels like VR grab it you are a photographer with an iron grip and hold it steady until the picture is taken. For me this is the perfect holiday optics! Used with d80 of writing.

Nikon's only normal zoom with VR of the higher grade. Solid with good optics. Savic.
