Inge on modem. This is one of the modems that I have now tested this week (Week 36 2007). The modem can only run these types of DSL connection and multiplex: RCF2684 Bridging / / LLC-Based & VC-Based Bridging PPPoE / / LLC Based PPPoA Bridging / / LLC-Based & VC-Based MTU size you can change if you want in the settings. VPI & VCI, you can change yourself too. And of course you can enter the username & password you have for your connection for PPPoA and PPPoE. You can get a lot of information about your connection. What speed, synchronization, type of connection (ADSL, ADSL2 +, etc.), etc. Is much to see. One can rest shaping modem and upgrade the firmware if you want but what I read on the net so the modem can act up when driving on the absolute latest firmware though. It is well that you can do with firmware 3.28r to the modem. I tested no new firmware to the modem because I could not get online with the modem. >. < It is certainly a good modem for uppkopplningar running through PPPoA or PPPoE other words requires a username and password. But otherwise it totally sucked because you can not set the IP address, subnet mask, Gateway: a, Primary & Secondary DNS address. Well, you can not set almost anything manually.
