Targeted Banner
You purchase a specific advertising space for a certain period of time and choose how many impressions you want during this period.

Vertical Banner
You purchase advertising space at a certain main category / group of categories. Your banner is mixed with ads from other advertisers. You cannot choose exact location, but the number of impressions is guaranteed within the main category/vertical that you choose.
During a Vertical campaign, changes can be made in the allocation between the subcategories and viewing frequency as they will have lower priority than Targeted banners.

Run on Site Banner
When purchasing a Run of Site campaign, your ad can be shown anywhere on PriceSpy. Your banner is mixed with ads from other advertisers.

During a Run of Site campaign, changes can be made in the allocation between the subcategories and viewing frequency, as they will have lower priority than Targeted and Vertical Banner banners.

Statistics and Followup
PriceSpy provide the following statistics when advertising on our site.

  • Total number of impressions
  • Total number of clicks on the ads (Click trough rate)
  • Total number of clicks divided by total ad impressions

At PriceSpy we use Emediate to track the performance of the ad campaigns that run on our site. For any inquiries concerning the delivery of the statistics, please contact Emediate Ad.

Third-Party Tags
I most cases there is a possibility to use third-party tags when advertising on PriceSpy. This implies that the advertisement is hosted on an external server and that PriceSpy is given a code to book the ad space. When the call to the ad system is answered by the campaign the code in question will run on the site and the ad (flash- or picture file) will appear. A third-party tag enables the advertiser to change the ad material without having to involve PriceSpy. It also often provides statistics from the campaign.   PriceSpy supports a number of third-party companies, among them: Adform, Admeta, Atlas, Bluestreak, Doubleclick, Emediate ,Tradedoubler, Adtech, BurstingPipe, Mediaplex.

Handover of Material
The advertising material is to be sent to traffic@prisjakt.nu three working-days before the start of the campaign. Special ads are delivered as agreed upon between PriceSpy and the advertiser. Any change of the advertisement is communicated and agreed on by email minimum two working days before the change is supposed to be executed. Please include the following compulsory information when handing in the material:

  • Customer/Advertiser
  • Placement of the ad
  • Time period of campaign
  • The advertisements’ URL links 
  • Order number
  • Contact person
