    UPDATE: Bought a Raidmax case that was only in stock at PC Pacific. Called before ordering to ask if in stock, replied yes, placed order. The order confirmation email said wait for stock confirmation email before replying, but I didn't receive one. 2 days later I decided I'll just pay anyway, and the day after I received an email stating that it has shipped after receiving my payment. So I wasted 2 days waiting for something that never was going to come. Otherwise it was a good experience, with fast shipping.

    Bought a graphics card from them because they were the cheapest, didn't know if I should buy from them because of all the bad ratings but decided to anyway. I called them first to see if it was in stock and how long it would take to deliver. Placed an order, was confirmed very quickly. Payment was made, I called them again to confirm. Was confirmed, emailed me the delivery tracking number. Arrived next morning. Very quickly done, excellent service, would recommend to anyone. Just make sure you call them at every step otherwise they might not check and you're wondering where is your order.

    AVOID!

    I payed for 3 items that never arrived. They were listed as being in stock but after I payed, I received a message saying the 'items(s) are out of stock'- so, they didn't even specify which.. I assumed that all 3 were and asked for a refund.. However I didn't get a reply to my request. I rang them at least 3 times a day but the phone was always turned off. They also never replied to the messages I sent them through their inquiries thing on their site. After a week, I went to the guys' house and asked for a refund.. (the company owners' address can be found here: http://www.business.govt.nz/companies/ .. just in case anyone runs into the same problem)
    He tried to argue that I wasn't checking my mails and didn't even apologize for the crappy service. You're better off paying a few more dollars than having to deal with these guys.

    Sweet deal, cheaper by nearly 100$ than the nearest competitor. Had no issues with communication at all, not sure why there are previous comment stating otherwise. The guy is asian but speaks quite clearly and had no trouble understanding my mumbling... Arrived the day after my payment cleared at their end, absolutely no issues _b

    Ordered a headset, I asked if it would arrive before Christmas they responded quickly and said yes. I ordered it a day after by bank deposit (they don't offer credit card payment) 2 days later Pc pacific shipped it. Shipping was reasonable with a $6 flatrate nationwide on most items. Pc pacific ships with an unheard of shipping company called castle parcels, the headphones arrived 10 days after it was shipped. Pc Pacific not highly recommended.

    Found this company absolutely useless!
    Complete lack of basic communication skills, very slow to respond to emails if they decide to reply at all!
    Staff who seem to be only able to speak some foreign Asian language yet we are in NZ!
    Eventually stopped purchasing from them due to their slack customer servicing!
    Overall customer service from this outfit is non existent even though I purchased from them over a period of 5 years or so!
    Why I tolerated this type of rubbish for so long I don't know???
    Nothing wrong with their prices etc but heaps wrong with the service and you can't run a small business properly with an outfit like this!
    If I treated my customers like they treated me I'd have no business left by lunchtime!
    I'm now paying more but the service is great & what's more they speakee my lingo (Kiwi) and even answer my emails!

    $600 worth of goods never arrived, couldn't understand the asian I talked to on the phone. They only offer the cheap prices because they don't actually intend to supply the product. Price spy states "Communication with the store can be in english." this however is not the case, though I imagine this would change rapidly should I turn up at their premisses and reposes my items + compensation.

    Bought Graphics card and atx case from them. Took a little long to be confirmed (1-2 days more). However otherwise very satisfactory and contact via email was excellent.
    Despite other bad ratings they were actually very good when I dealt with them.

    What a useless company.

    There website states they have stock of the product, phone them, someone who has a bad grasp of the English lanuguage answers doesn't know their product, says he will despatch one if I like to order, when I insisated he check to see if he had stock, he wasn't happy to, & then came back & told me no stock & they cannot get. Why have it on their website, I would be scared to purchase from them then find they don't have stock, as with this dealing a refund could also be an issue, be careful of this business

    I just ordered a couple of hard drives from these people and although their website clearly states a flat rate postage fee of $9 they are asking $18 for sending less than 2 kilos from Auckland to Whangarei via Courierpost. Courierpost themselves quoted me just over $11 and PCPacific would pay less on account. Beware of this company as they try to rip you off with double postage costs.

    Do not trust this store. I rang the day before my order to check a laptop was in stock. They told me it was so I went through with the order, only to have them email me after I'd transferred the money to tell me it wasn't it stock. They tried to push alternative products instead of offering a refund. Luckily, I rang the bank in time to cancel the transfer, and ordered through a different website.

    Do not trust whether they say it's in stock. It's almost seems like it's their marketing strategy to get your money, then try and sell you an alternative product.

    Bought 4 hard drives off these guys and they were very good, dispatched the next day. Only problem was the courier company was useless which meant I didn't get them for 3 days, but that is a different story

    I had untold trouble getting PC Pacific to reimburse me for the payment I had made for a faulty CPU that they were unable to replace. I threatened to go to the Disputes Tribunal, then actually had to do it and got an enforceable order for them to pay. I still got no action. Instead the new owner tried to argue that they didn't have to pay. Only when I threatened further enforcement action (which would have increased their cost) did they finally pay up. My offer - to reimburse me for the extra $ 30 I had to pay to the Disputes Tribunal in order to get what was rightfully mine - was not taken up. I suggested that as a goodwill gesture, otherwise I would write this comment.
    Save yourselves a lot of trouble and deal with someone else.

    Stock marked as in stock. It wasn't, offered to sell me an alternative, no other option on graphics cards quite as competetive. Reading other reviews of this site it seems that this happens quite often, probably deliberatly, as a hook to get people through thier e-door, once in a lot of people reluctant to go through research process again.

    BTW i checked later, original graphics card still marked as in stock.

    Stock not always accurate but they generally offered a worthy upgrade and have decent customer support.

    i had a nightmare of a time with this store several months back when i sent them a faulty item and they tried to charge me freight to send me the replacement... In the end (after using the consumer rights threat) they decided to wave the freight, only to again send me a faulty item!! i got a refund about 2 months after my original purchase.

    I ordered a graphics card clearly marked as being 2xDVI and they sent me the 1xDVI/1xHDMI variant - a big problem since I have 2 DVI screens.

    I emailed them about this and they refused to replace it, instead trying to sell me a $25 converter cable.

    Had MASSIVE problems with OC ZONE, they didnt have the card, Pc Pacific had it. I bought the card, it arrived with flat rate shipping and was perfect out of the box.

    Three days later i got my 3rd email from OC ZONE, (I had sent 10 to them) And later on that day i got a refund which i paid two weeks prior.

    PC PACIFIC was really friendly, prompt emails and even better service was a God-send!

    Thanks PC PACIFIC, lol i was happy with the trade :)

    When stuff is in stock their good, sometimes a bit slow in telling you that its out of stock, but always happy to refund you if its not. As for good and actual products I'm happy, order many times (over 10) and never had any trouble. So if your worried about stock, just call up before you order, thats generally what I do now. I give them 7* as theres still room to improve.

    Bought 3 items at different times in the past from PC Pacific, and have had no problems. They generally reply to emails promptly and before they had the message in their confirmation that says not to pay until stock is confirmed, I paid for an item that was out of stock and they refunded me fine. I would recommend confirming stock before ordering though, as they don't always have stock of the listed items.

    Was nervous to use these guys after seeing other reviews. So here is my experience:
    1 week prior - enquired about parts, recevied response next day
    Tuesday - Placed Order
    Thursday - Paid, payment confirmed within the hour
    Friday - Enquired as to shipping status, advised parts had just arrived (3PM) and that they would try and dispatch that afternoon. Tracking number received at 5:30PM
    Saturday - Parts arrive at 8am on my doorstep all in working order.

    So was overall a very good experience. I would suggest other buyers enquire about availability prior to placing order though.

    This stores order process is cumbersome. I purchased a pair of hard drives from them and was sent slightly different ones. They then sent me the correct hard drives and a self-addressed courier bag to return the others, I was impressed by this.
    On requesting the production date of the i7 CPUs they are selling they replied within a couple of days. I then ordered my CPU and motherboard without hassles.
    One of the hard drives I got from them has since failed (a manufacturing fault, not anything to do with the store) and I have returned it. I will update this review when they replace it with how that went.

    PC Pacific have listed cheap product, I make a query about the shipping, complete the order, and then learn that the product is out of stock. Am offered to buy another product. A waste of my time.
