    Avoid at all cost!
    Despite of this store having few negative comments, I gave it a try. It turns out that they never reply to any of my emails.
    They claim they reply to ALL emails within 24~48 hours and I am still waiting for their reply to my email which I have sent on 01/01.

    Says in stock, but its not in NZ stock...just in a wharehouse somewhere, So every shop in NZ "could" say its in stock somewhere in the world.... Pricespy should state that in stock means in NZ !

    ordered a mobile phone from electron world, paid via bank transfer on Tuesday the 27th of September and i do bank with ASB so they should have received the payment on the same day. 2 weeks later the phone is no show, very unsatisfied with the service. their website states that delivery takes 3-5 working days not 10. price spy should investigate electron world for posting misleading information.

    Had order marked as being processed, and then went completely silent and took more than 2 (working) days to reply to any emails enquiring about the shipping status and subsequently requesting a refund.

    I eventually was refunded the price of the product, which is what qualifies them for 2 stars rather than 1.

    Attempted to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 phone, of which they mark as in stock.

    The service is unnacceptable.

  • Poor
    ordered an LG P970 pink (NZ$488) on a Tuesday, paid by direct bank transfer, payment received by them immediately as we share the same bank. got the automatic email thanking me for my purchase, etc. then nothing.

    a week later I asked if there was tracking info on the phone (as it comes from Hong Kong). they said they'd get in touch when they had it, there had been shipping delays and Customs getting involved with some shipments but "There has not been a problem or issue with your order that we have been made aware of."

    by day 10, with still no tracking information, I was getting pretty annoyed.

    finally, by day 14, I said that, if no satisfactory answer could be given by the end of the day, I'd need a refund. they refunded immediately, and THEN explained that they'd had supply issues for the particular colour I wanted - this had never been explained before.

    their website was stating at the time that stock levels of this model & colour were 100 units!

    a rather frustrating & annoying experience all round. their website states "Fedex 3-5 days insured delivery" for mobile phones. certainly not, in my experience.

    Seemed to good to be true ... emailed shop enquiring about availability and to check price ... very quick favourable response so took punt and ordered the FZ100 ... received it within the 10 day promise in excellent condition ... NZ retailers beware! ... you don't normally find superb pricing and great service so tightly bolted together ... Thanks Adrienne

    I bought a phone (HTC Desire HD)through these people. They were open, upfront, and kept me fully informed.
    The phone had sold out in Hong Kong, and I was given the choice of a full refund or waiting.
    I waited and about a week later I received the Fedex tracking number. It was here 3 days later.
    As long as you understand that the stock comes directly to you from overseas, then you will be more than happy.
    This streamlined process is why their prices are so sharp.

    I bought a phone from these guys and everything went smoothly. The web site said "In stock" but the phone was shipped direct to me from Hong Kong. It took 7 days from placing order with full payment to receiving the phone. Shipping added $35 to the bill and I chose to pay by credit card which incurred a $15 surcharge, but you could avoid that with a direct bank transfer. Communication was prompt and clear.

    All of this was basically in line with my expectations. If you need next-day shipping then you might want to deal with someone else. If you're happy to wait a few days then you can save some bucks.

  • Barely acceptable
    Ordered a phone marked as "In stock", only to be told they didn't actually have it in stock over a week later. Their delivery times are specified as 3-5 days!

    A lot of to-ing and fro-ing was needed to get this sorted, and response times were not great for this, either. Replacement phone will still not be delivered for another week according to tracking website.

    Overall, slow to respond and misleading information on their website, not happy with their service at all.
