Price and product information

D700 extends Nikon's range of D-SLR cameras in FX-format by packing innovative technology and performance in a camera body of descreet size. The highly sensitive CMOS senor of 12.1 megapixels has an extendable ISO range of 200-6400, and is equipped with a system for automatic sensor cleaning. The image processing engine EXPEED, allows taking pictures of superb detail and tone gradation at a speed of up to 5 BPS (8 with the aid of the battery pack MB-D10 and battery EN-EL4a, sold separately). The advanced system for scene recognition allows exposure of outstanding quality and works together with Nikon's praised 51 point AF system to allow meticulous subject tracking even in dim light. The selectable image control optimises the image processing, saving editing time, and the 3 inch high resolution LCD-screen can be used in two different live view modes. D700 also has a HDMI output. The sturdy and well sealed camera body is manufactured with a magnesium alloy and makes D700 a perfectly balanced D-SLR camera, able to handle unexpected situations, no matter where your shooting takes you.
