What are some good shops in which I can find cable sleeving kits? I've already had a look at Legion Enterprises, but they don't have much of a range.

Also looking for a spare side panel for a Coolermaster CM 690 II, so I can try doing some case modding. Do you know of anyone who owns a spare one or is willing to sell just the side panel? (I know it's very unlikely, but just trying my luck)

Techworld seem to have some cheap NZXT extension cables. Though they seem to be out of the motherboard and 6 pin ones. Maybe you can find those at Computer lounge.

Overclockers.co.nz have a great range of NZXT sleeved cables including some of the red ones. There website isn't flashy but the staff are really helpful.

I've seen that one, but that's the window for the first version of the case... Coolermaster has decided to be mean and not to produce the extra window side panel for us in NZ for the second version.

Techworld is a fair bit cheaper than overclockers, and for the same products too.
But it seems that both of the shops are out of stock at the moment

I'm in the same position as you for the case modding.
At the moment, what I am going to do is just have a custom build side panel with a clear plastic over the side. Haven't decided on the plastic I am going to use, but that is the plan so far.

Oh that's awesome! you should put some pictures up once you've started the modding.

So you're thinking about replacing the whole panel with a clear window?
What plastic where you thinking of using, i thought there was a only one kind of clear plastic?

Nah, not the whole side panel but a cut out design. Maybe a logo or emblem made from a Clear plastic. Then tacked onto a custom cut metal side panel. Should be an interesting project when I get around to it.

First mod looks good though Jtchal :-) are you planning on painting the rest of it white?

Dont think I will, well not any time soon anyway.
Just waiting for a particular PSU to land on our shores, and once I get my hand on that, I'll be adding a side window. (Sourced some U-channel in CHCH too )

Nice sidewinder and Acer G245 there, whats it like as a monitor? Oh and the case is looking pretty sweet

Haha thanks, I just wish that the lighting of the Sidewinder gear was blue..
As for the monitor, i wish it was a 24"! Instead it's X223W, that i got when i bought me first computer from (DSE), that was a major mistake.
It's not too bad though, handles games pretty well too

Um have been pretty busy, however I did make a windowed side panel towards the end of last year.
I've been willing to upload a few pictures however, I need to rearrange my internal components and clean all the dust before i do that.
It will happen one day though

Did you end up finding any U-Channel? Just getting ready to do a case window as well.

Just measuring it all up for a perspex window.

Yep sure did, got some from Pararubber, it's not U-channel from MNPCtech but it does the trick. I found the perspex on trademe, plenty of colours available and the cut it to your desired size too.

Mint, just going to get some perspex through a design student at Uni, who is going to do some laser cutting and some etching into it too, fingers crossed. Got some LED fans that should arrive tomorrow, thanks CL :-D. Find attached, initial sketch... I will get a better one up soon.

Idea is that there will be a fairly massive window cut into the computer. With the acrylic backing, I will get etched into it this kind of pattern.

Lol I ended up buying some. Should arrive soon. Figured it would cost the same and the extra lengths un-used will go into future mods :-D, seeing as it is like 6ft. Everything is all drawn up and ready just needs the perspex to be cut and etched. Also need to figure out an emblem to go into a corner of the perspex and onto the desk I built for my room.
