Hrmm... I think I will go with clear tubing now as it will be cheaper, and might look better if I get suitable coolant. However the X1 purple, isn't. How about mixing red and blue..?
http://techworld.co....le-p-45935.html

Think I could get a darkish purple out of them? Or maybe "purple" + red? I don't know how well they mix either.

Also, XSPC block and backplate for GTX 670 look like my cheapest (still good though :P) option for the GTX 760

Go post in the Mayhems User club in OCN, with an image of the colour you want to match. They should be able to help you out. I think Pastel blue plus red would sort you out though.

Also a bit annoying that pastel red is out of stock atm

I did for a little while, mostly browsing pictures, and the posts deescribing them, and your name popped up haha :P

Yeah, hopefully by the time I'm ready to put a $700 dollar order through from Techworld, Scott will have some more in. I'll ask now :)

Wow this forum's quite dead..... wanted to ask.

For all you tube reservoir users: how did you mount yours to the case?

Most cases don't have threads in the exactly right position for the screw mounts, so I'm thinking of cutting out my own piece of transparent acrylic and have spacers underneath so it covers the rubber grommets where the power cable management goes through (I own a corsair 750D).

I haven't gotten around to making it yet, but I was hoping to get some ideas :D

Why don't you drill mounting holes into the motherboard tray?

Some cases have tube-res mounting next to the expansion slots. The 750D doesn't, but you could drill holes there and mount it if the res doesn't interfere with the GPUs.

Ah I don't have the tools to drill through metal.. lol bought some smoke transparent plastic from the hardware store (about $50....) and DIY'ed my own elevated plate above the cable wiring grommets :D and velcro on the back of the reservoir hehe. Got my final parts today, gonna work on it tonight!

The Lamptron is aesthetically pleasing, with it's aluminum faceplate and sleeved cables, while showing a good amount of information and having the ability to choose between Fan, Flowmeter, and Pump Control modes for each channel, all displayed on a very clear and organised LCD panel. But when it comes to features, the Aquaero looks to be top-spec, with software control via USB, up to 4 PWM fan channels, multiple connectors for cross-communication with other devices, and lots of other things that would require a couple of hours worth of research within the User Manual.

The lampton is a poor mans version of the Aquaero. The Aquaero six has a large feature set, and is an improvement over the fifth edition. Saying all that it is top-of-the-life and you will see that in the price tag.

If you go the Lamptron route definitely check out a few reviews as Lamptron have a hit-or-miss record.

What are some current good radiator fans? I know it used to be GT15's but these are now discontinued (at least with Scythe as a middleman), that the corsair fans are also good (sp120 pe) and that noctuas are also good but expensive http://www.frozencpu...F12IPPC20P.html

So what are some good radiator fans, and yes I have tried searching and I haven't found anything conclusive yet.

I also don't really want deltas

S-Flex? Cougars? Noiseblockers? Noctuas? Leftover GTs? SWiF2? Plenty of good choices. Depends how much noise you can handle for the cooling performance you desire, if you care about the aesthetics of the fan, how much you're willing to spend, etc.

Mainly looking for a good fan around 30dba and under $30ish, they can be from any shop in the states as well, ignoring shipping cost. I like the look of those black NF-F12's

Corsair's offering (SP120) is good, as long as you get PWM models, and ramp them low. Cougars are supposed to be really good, Noiseblocker the same. However, if you want to use a push/ pull configuration, the noiseblockers are out, as they stick out of the frame a bit and therefore, can't be used in pull.

If you can somehow find some AP15's they are still really awesome. Could look for some Yate Loons (Poor mans AP15...)

Does anyone know whats up with watercooling products at computer lounge at the moment?

Ive made a couple of orders for various new items they listed up (bitspower, primochill etc..) but when it comes to getting ETA's or even an answer to weather or not the goods have been ordered.

Their Bitspower/Primochill stock is listed as pre-order, so most likely they are waiting for the shipmemt to come in. They reorganised their watercooling listings a couple months ago to allow for restocking, so I assume you'll hear word when that shipment comes in. Keep in mind that like all computer parts, bulk-ordering watercooling parts isn't cheap, so they'd rather ship them slow and safe to assure nothing gets broken. Have you inquired about an estimate through the communications log?

Was just reading about it on OCN. Hey S0up, why don't you post some pics of the new Mayhem's dye while you're at it. ;)

EDIT: By the way, they should change their name to Aqua(rium) Computer. We've been using their pumps, their technologies (aquarium), etc. What's next? A vivarium in a PC case? Haha... JK though.

W/C is good and all but it's so ADDICTIVE! lol I haven't even started putting it together and I'm loving it. I made another mistake of not measuring the distance between the two GPU blocks, so I had to place another order. Let this be a lesson to all beginners, get all your measurements sorted before ordering. In my defence, it was the wee hours in the morning when I ordered them. Too lazy to update the log, but will update it once the shipment arrived. Teaser: Phobya 200mm rad, 120x32mm PWM fans, etc.

S0up, what do think about the Swiftech Apogee II pump+block? I almost ordered it but thought I need more rad surface than more flow. What do you reckon? Cheers.

What new Mayhems dye, are you specifically referring to?

Haha I suck at bending acrylic tubing... It is the bane of my life! When I get that up and running I will post pictures...

Essentially the Apogee II is just a 35X strapped to one of their blocks. Now the MCP35X is a really good pump, would recommend it for anyone. However, there blocks are not known for being remarkable.

It all depends on what you are trying to cool and already have. What are your specs so far?

ETA will be roughly two weeks I think, don't quote me on that because Billy didn't know for sure. Like Scrypt mentioned they try and do a bulk order to bring their shipping costs down, but I wouldn't think it is that far away.
